Session 3: Changing Organizations: Insight and skills necessary to develop an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organization
*Registration limited to those who have already participated in Session 2 of the Leadership Series
Session 3 is a two-day workshop that applies foundational concepts to organizations in the environmental and social change arenas. It provides experiential learning and knowledge necessary to:
- Understand organizational culture and how it impacts individuals and groups.
- Begin to identify the “current state” of an organization’s level of equity, diversity, and inclusion and build skills and learn key steps necessary for leading change to develop more inclusive organizational norms, policies, and practices.
- Understand dynamics of organizational change and resistance.
- Examine issues of gender and sexual orientation and how they impact organizational culture.
